DMCA Policy

SerenaGenovese.ae respects the intellectual property rights of others. We expect our users to do the same. This page outlines our policy for copyright infringement notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).

We are committed to protecting the creative works of content creators. SerenaGenovese.ae responds to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA. Our goal is to maintain a lawful environment for all content related to Dubai’s aesthetics, design, and photography.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe your copyrighted work appears on SerenaGenovese.ae without authorization, you may submit a written notice to our Designated Agent. Your notice must include all of the information listed below.

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if a single notification covers multiple copyrighted works, a representative list of such works.
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit SerenaGenovese.ae to locate the material. Providing URLs is the best way to help us find content quickly.
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit SerenaGenovese.ae to contact the complaining party. This includes an address, telephone number, and, if available, an email address.
  • A statement that the complaining party has a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate. The statement must also declare, under penalty of perjury, that the complaining party is authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Counter-Notification Process

If your content was removed following a DMCA notice, and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notification. This applies if you have the right to post the content.

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled, and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
  • Your name, address, and telephone number.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the U.S., for any judicial district in which SerenaGenovese.ae may be found). You must also accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will send a copy to the original complaining party. We will inform them that SerenaGenovese.ae may replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it within 10 to 14 business days. This action will occur unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order to restrain the user from engaging in infringing activity.

Designated Agent

Our Designated Agent for receiving notifications of claimed copyright infringement can be reached at: Email: [email protected]. Please send only DMCA notices to this address. For general inquiries, use [email protected].
